2. Rider Safety Guidelines
- Always verify the driver's details, vehicle model, and number plate before entering.
- Share your trip with a trusted friend or family member using the in-app share feature.
- Wear your seatbelt throughout the journey.
- Do not request rides to dangerous or restricted areas.
- Report any suspicious behavior through the app or to our support team immediately.
3. Driver Safety Guidelines
- Only begin a trip once you have confirmed the passenger identity and pickup details.
- Follow all traffic laws and drive responsibly at all times.
- Decline trips that feel unsafe or suspicious.
- Keep your vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
- Respect all riders regardless of gender, age, religion, or background.
4. Safety During the Trip
- No harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior is tolerated.
- No weapons, illegal items, or dangerous substances are allowed inside the vehicle.
- Both rider and driver must remain respectful and follow platform guidelines.
5. Emergency Support
In case of an emergency, contact local authorities immediately. After you are safe, inform Chariot Support so we can take action.
6. Reporting Incidents
If you experience or witness unsafe behavior, report it through the Chariot app or contact our team. Reports are reviewed and may result in warnings, suspensions or permanent removal where appropriate.
